CIRCULATION AND PARKING

In Milano the disabled parking and circulation mark in European format is in force. The parking spaces reserved for disabled parking permit holders are delimited by yellow stripes with specific horizontal and vertical signs. If the vertical sign shows the specific number of a pass, only the holder of that pass is authorized to park there.

In Milano there are yellow striped parking lots (reserved for resident citizens) and blue striped parking lots (parking fee); disabled parking permit holders can park freely on both.

Vehicles in possession of the parking and circulation mark for people with disabilities, upon communication of the license plate to the Municipality of Milano, can obtain exemptions and derogations for entry into:

• Area B (official website)

• lanes reserved for public transport.

In the peripheral belt of Milan, near some metro stations, there are interchange car parks with parking spaces reserved for disabled parking permit holders.

BREAKDOWN ASSISTANCE APP FOR DEAF PEOPLE

ACI Global, in partnership with the Ente Nazionale Sordi (National Deaf NGO), has developed an APP that offers deaf people support functions to request breakdown assistance.
