Entrance
The square in front of the church is stone-paved. The main entrance to the church has 8 steps (14 cm) and a double leaf door (164 cm wide each).

On the right side of the church there is a secondary entrance reserved for disabled visitors. It can be reached by walking along via del Carmine for about 50 m on a cobblestone surface with narrow stone-paved routes that are not easy for wheelchair users. The secondary entrance has two consecutive doors and an inclined ramp (slope of 11%) leading into the church.

Interior spaces
The church was built in the 13th century and its façade is Gothic Lombard in-style. The interior is a Latin cross, the central nave has benches with kneelers (seat height: 55 cm).
Access to the Cappella della Madonna del Carmine, at the bottom of the right nave, is preceded by 5 steps (14 cm, handrail on both sides).

There are several side chapels, all preceded by 3 steps.

Cloister
On the left side of the church you can visit the old cloister of the XV century of which we only have two sides (it is possible to access it directly from the square).
