How to get there by public transport

Parking
It is possible to park on the blue lines in the adjacent streets. Along via Palestro there are 2 parking spaces reserved for people with permit for citizens with disability. One parking space reserved for people with permit for citizens with disability and some parking spaces on the blue lines are located opposite to the first two entrances along corso Venezia, arriving from piazza Oberdan.

Entrance
Some entrances to the park present difficulties for access, due to steps, slopes and uneven ground. For persons with reduced mobility, it is suggested to use the first two entrances on corso Venezia, arriving from piazza Oberdan: there are no steps. 

 

Itinerary
Laid out at the end of the eighteenth century with a French plan, this was the first city park designed for public use.
The wide paths in the park are in beaten earth and gravel. There are numerous benches scattered throughout the park. 

 

Common toilets
At the junction between via Palestro and corso Venezia there is a public toilet equipped for persons with disabilities; in spring and summer, there are also mobile toilets for persons with disabilities.
