Christmas lights in Milan

As every year there are many streets lit for Christmas in Milan ready to light up from the centre to the suburbs.

It starts on November 28th with the lighting of Piazza della Scala which lights up thanks to the installation and the lights of Chanel: a monumental bottle of n °5 is revealed to the city, infusing the warm and evocative red lights throughout the square.

Unfailing the atmosphere of the Quadrilatero della Moda that from November 28th will host the eighth edition of the Christmas Shopping Experience, an elegant lighting arrangement with piped music, created ad hoc for each street, music, events and a sparkling Christmas tree in piazzetta Croce Rossa.

November 30th is the turn of the "Total Domination" project sponsored by Liu Jo who, from Corso Buenos Aires to Corso Veneziapassing through the Porta Venezia Tollhouses, welcomes lights, backlit totems, banners and video posters.

Don’t miss the appointment with the evocative Musical Advent Calendar which, from the first to the 24th of December at 6.30pm, accompanies Milan and tourists to Christmas through a spectacular video-projection that transforms the facade of the Palazzo dei Portici Meridionali in Piazza Duomo in a big screen.

Also this year, the show of the bright vault returns in the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II: 5 thousand white LEDs placed at a height of 45 meters completely cover the 800 square meters of the dome, and flanked by the glittering and now traditional tree placed at the Octagon.

Thanks to the contribution of SS Advertising, Porta Garibaldi Tollhouses in Piazza XXV Aprile are illuminated with projections of Christmas subjects, while the sponsor Engie illuminates for the first time the Torre Breda in Bicocca.

For the second year, thanks to the intervention of Nexi, Corso Sempione is illuminated with light arches that start from the company's headquarters, as well as Corso Como, Via Dante, Via Torino and Corso Vercelli shining with lights thanks to the intervention of sponsors.

And that's not all: there are also many streets in the suburbs that shine at festivities, from Baggio to Niguarda, from Via Casoretto to Gratosoglio, from Piazza Selinunte to Piazzale Corvetto.
