B4i launches new call for startups

Bocconi University's acceleration program opens to new startups

Bocconi for Innovation (B4i) has launched a new call for startups, which will be open until July 19th 2020. The startups will be able to access the pre-acceleration and acceleration programs. This is the second startup call launched by B4i, and comes days after the launch of the collaboration between B4i and Plug & Play

The call will be launched with a live broadcast on June 25th at 5:15 pm CET. The broadcast can be viewed on the university's channels (Linkedin and Youtube).

The Pre-Acceleration program

The pre-acceleration program includes 11 training sessions over three months, with the aim of understanding and applying the main concepts useful for validating a business idea. Participation is free of charge and compatible with full-time academic or professional commitments, ensuring flexibility so that ideas can be tested without having to make radical career choices.

The acceleration program

The acceleration process lasts four months and entails an investment of €30,000 for each startup, combined with access to a network of services and dedicated sessions with experts and mentors, including Bocconi University professors, Bocconi alumni from different continents and sectors, and professionals such as entrepreneurs, investors and managers.

In addition, startups can develop sales networks and sales channels with B2B customers, take advantage of exclusive discounted services from B4i and partners, including market analysis databases, cloud, payments, and much more. Finally, an ad hoc space has been set up on campus with modern offices shared with other startups and program partners that can be used safely and in compliance with the regulations and decrees for the management of the Covid-19 pandemic.
