Once again, for 2024, the San Siro Stadium will become centre stage for major international competitions and the annual Derby della Madonnina which never fails to instigate a mega show of rivalry on the terraces.

This year’s action will kick off with the Europa League: on February 15th, at 21:00, Milan will take to the field against Stade Rennes in the playoffs to go through to the round of 16. It will be the first ever match between the two teams who, incidentally, both wear red & black jerseys.

On February 20th at 21:00 it will be Inter's turn, they will face Atlético Madrid in the Champions League round of 16. The Madrid team has reached two finals in the last ten years, and Inter is preparing to face this round with the hope of making their fans dream of returning to the top of the European league.

We will, however, have to wait until spring for the big Derby: Milan and Inter will clash on April 21st. After their 5-1 defeat in the first leg, the Rossoneri will have to make up for their loss in front of their fans, and climb the league table.

The 115th edition of the Milano - Sanremo men's road cycling race, also known as the Classicissima di primavera, will set off on March 16th. As part of the UCI World Tour, and one of the most important racing circuits worldwide, the competition will feature 175 professional competitors representing 25 teams (7 riders per team).

The most famous non-competitive race in Italy is back; Stramilano is everyone’s race! Every year it involves more than 50,000 people from all over the world.

On April 7th, 2024 the Milano Marathon will celebrate the 22nd edition of the popular event aimed at professional athletes, runners of all abilities and families, which will confirm the city as the capital of running. 

The Autodromo Nazionale Monza, aka the Monza Circuit, is a top destination for all motor enthusiasts and will not only host the Formula 1 Italian Grand Prix, but also the MIMO Milano Monza Motor Show, a unique event for automobile and motorcycle enthusiasts in limited edition.

The Formula 1 Italian Grand Prix will take place from August 30th to September 1st, 2024 at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza.

November marks the Milano21 Half Marathon event in the city.

A race for everyone with three running options: 21K and 10k (in the competitive and non-competitive version) and the 3x7 K relay.

The Duomo, Parco Sempione, Castello Sforzesco, the Darsena and Monte Napoleone are the stages of a route that winds through the streets of the historic city centre.

The Premier Padel P1 tournament comes to Milano in December, with which the official world professional circuit concludes its 2024 season. The competition will be played in the Allianz Cloud arena.
