Milano is also a Roman city. It was briefly the capital of the Western Roman Empire. Now the ruins of its vast Coliseum, located between via De Amicis and via Conca del Naviglio, will be the main attraction of a large green park open to citizens and tourists. The city deputy for urban planning defined the project "the most incredible of the next few years'', in a city that is expanding its green areas and reducing its carbon footprint thanks to the FORESTAMI project, according to which 3 million trees will be planted by 2030 (almost 300,000 already planted), many in collaboration with private actors. The works for the Park of the Amphitheatrum of Nature are scheduled to be completed by 2022, when this innovative green archeology project will bring Roman Milano back to the eyes of the world.
