City Life

The new Milanese skyline stops here

Tre Torri - City Life
Piazza Elsa Morante

Designed by archistars Daniel Libeskind, Arata Isozaki and Zaha Hadid, the City Life district is one of the most prestigious futuristic projects created in Milano during EXPO 2015.

Along with the towers in the Isola-Porta Nuova area, City Life has helped to transform the aesthetics of the city, that can boast today one of the most artistic and elegant skylines in Europe. The project consists of areas with different purposes: green spaces open to the public, residential homes, prestigious offices and a shopping center.

Once upon a time, here stood the Milano Trade Fair, demolished between 2007 and 2008 to make way for this ambitious urban redevelopment plan, the largest in Europe. The FieraMilanoCity building, that still hosts minor events than the ones being held at the Trade Fair District of Rho-Pero, was covered with a metal structure that wraps it like a blanket. It is home to the Mico - Milano Convention Centre which, with 65 halls and 50,000 square metres of exhibition space, is the largest congress centre in Europe.

In the residences designed by Iraqi architect Zaha Hadid, nicknamed "Le Vele" for its resemblance to cruise ships, live many celebrities, including the most popular and famous fashion influencer in the world: Chiara Ferragni.
