The Malpensa Airport (MXP), about 45 Km from Milano has two operating terminals: T1 and T2, connected by a free shuttle bus service leaving about every 20 minutes.

Terminal 1 is the terminal where intercontinental,  international and domestic flights are leaving from; a vast offer of shops, restaurants and services is available for travellers. Terminal 2 is dedicated to low cost flights.

HOW TO REACH MILANO

BY TRAIN

Malpensa Express from Terminals 1 and 2.

Travels to:  

• Stazione Cadorna (Cadorna Station), city center - connection with underground lines M1 and M2. Travel time: about 40 minutes; frequency: every 30 minutes.
• Stazione Centrale (Central Station) - connection with underground lines M2 and M3. Travel time: about 60 minutes; frequency: every 30 minutes. It also stops at Porta Garibaldi FS - connection with underground lines M2 and M5. Travel time: about 50 minutes.

Tickets can be purchased online, via app and at the ticket offices and automatic counters. Purchase onboard is forbidden.

BY BUS

From Terminals 1 and 2 to Stazione Centrale FS, connection with underground lines M2 and  M3. Travel time: about 50 minutes. The service is offered by three companies:

BY CAR

By car (about 45 Km): SS 336 destination Milano. Near Busto Arsizio enter highway A8 towards Milano. Travel time: about 60 minutes.

From Monday to Friday, from 07.30 a.m. to 07.30 p.m. vehicles entering Milano’s city center are subject to the payment of the Area C congestion charge.
