The Associazione Nazionale Alpini, founded on 8 July 1919, turns one hundred years old and celebrates with the Adunata del Centenario (Centennial Gathering) in Milano, where it was founded and where it still has its headquarters, in Via Vincenzo Monti 36.

The days of 10 - 11 - 12 May 2019 are a tribute to the territory that hosts them and, in the spirit of all the gatherings, animate the city with music and colours, in addition to the typical taste of the Alpini to be together. A festive event for everyone, even for non-Alpini groups.

The highlight is the Grand parade with choirs and fanfares, scheduled for Sunday 12 May from morning to evening on the main streets of the city.

Parco Sempione is home to the Citadel of the Alpini, a meeting place for the Alpine troops of yesterday and today but open to all, dedicated to both the military and civil protection aspects, with various specialities represented including: forest fire fighting, drones, dog lovers, mountaineers, divers.

Piazza Duomo will host the tribune of honour with the authorities and the passing of the baton to the city of Rimini, the act with which the Milanese Gathering will end.
