Panettone Day - Temporary Store

From October 4th to 31th

Why wait for Christmas to enjoy a delectable slice of panettone? Drop into our concept store and taste one of the 26 exclusive and original recipes selected by Iginio Massari and Carlo Cracco. And if you don't happen to like candied fruit, no worries: you can choose a panettone with chocolate, pistachio, apples and loads of other flavours!

The Temporary Store is located in corso Garibaldi at the corner of via Palermo 21 and will stay open until October 31st.

Confectionary and wine for the Duomo

From October 5th - Charity gift ideas/souvenirs for the restoration of the Duomo

How would you to take home the perfect gift, a souvenir of Milanese food excellence?

Three Italian ambassadors of taste, along with the most awarded wine label designer in the world, have risen nobly to the challenge of financing the restoration of the Duomo.

The chefs Carlo Cracco, Cesare Battisti and Gianluca Fusto have each created a confectionery product, while Mario di Paolo, recently awarded Designer of the Year, has created the ‘Milano wine’ label.

Battisti, chef at the innovative restaurant Ratanà, has created a soft nougat enhanced by some iconic ingredients such as puffed rice and saffron pistils.

Carlo Cracco presents his already famous ‘Baci di Cracco’, which are inspired by Baci di Dama (Ladies Kisses sandwich cookies) but are flatter and more colourful, somewhat similar to macarons.

Gianluca Fusto, a contemporary and innovative pastry chef, has created his ‘Biscotti di Milano’, biscuits made with a very crumbly base of gluten and lactose-free rice flour and saffron, therefore, also suitable for those with food intolerances.

The wine label designer Mario di Paolo has created the ‘Vino del Duomo’, a red Igt Verona, in collaboration with the Collina dei Ciliegi winery.

From October 28th to 31st - Superstudio and Magazzino central station

PizzaVillage be a real ‘village’ in Milan hosting some of the most renowned pizzerias with an extensive and extremely tasty schedule of seminars, hands-on sessions, talks, testimonials and exhibitions. Visitors will be able to taste the delicious products of the best international pizza ‘artists’ who will take turns in the Scuola di Pizza (School of Pizza) kitchen to teach all pizza fans the secrets of their recipes.

Milano Whisky Festival & Fine Spirits

From December 4th to 6th 2021

In the runup to Christmas this Festival aims to spread the cheer by inviting visitors to sample the culture of Scottish malt whisky in Italy. With this in mind the organizers will focus on sharing their profound knowledge of the many Highlands distilleries, introducing their secrets and the dedicated artisans who create the products, generously enabling everyone to savour 500 years of history with a simple gesture.
