Michele Di Stefano is a fixed pearl of Triennale Milano Teatro's programming. This year he returns with one of his classics, Bermudas - the show that won the Danza&Danza award, best Italian production 2018, nominated for the Ubu prize as the best dance show (won in 2019 by his "spin-off" Bermudas Forever, presented at the Santarcangelo Festival).
The company, founded by Leone d'Argento Michele Di Stefano together with Biagio Caravano, interprets a journey of fast and squared movements towards a distant destination, transforming the stage into a place full of energy and relational tension. In an apparent confusion, the square lines of the arms, the hands outstretched towards the outside of the bodies, mark a rationally definable path to follow, where it is actually possible to find a synergy between people. The performance is a physical tale of encounters, gestural organization and expressive intensity easy to permeate - a collective ritual told through dance.
