A new version of the ballet taken from the famous opera on view at Teatro Nuovo
An unmissable version of Carmen arrives at the Teatro Nuovo. This time the young and sensual Seville Sigaraia will live her tormented love quarrels accompanied by choreographies between modern dance and flamenco, not avoiding a dialogue - though artistically updated - with classical balletto. George Bizet's traditional music merges with the postmodern sound of guitars creating a unique experience, in which echoes all the emotional ancestrality of the gypsy atmospheres typical of 1800 Spain.
During the evening of the show, in the foyer of the Teatro Nuovo, there will be an exhibition of the works realized by the students of "Liceo Artistico Statale di Brera" who participated in the contest "My Carmen". The exhibit will be open to all who come to see the ballet.
