The first exhibition dedicated to architecture at Armani Silos
On the occasion of the 2019 Salone del Mobile, Giorgio Armani inaugurates the first exhibition dedicated to architecture in the spaces of Armani / Silos: The Challenge - Tadao Ando, from 9 April to 28 July 2019.
The Challenge retraces the career of Tadao Ando through his most significant achievements.
The narrative path is structured around four main themes: Primitive forms of space, An urban challenge, Genesis of the landscape, Dialogues with history.
Over 50 projects are part of the retrospective, illustrated by sketches, original models, video installations, technical drawings, travel notebooks and photographs taken by Tadao Ando.
"I would like to create architectures that can last forever, not in substance or form, but as an indelible memory in the hearts of men" said Tadao Ando.
