A circuit that combines contemporary design with the cultural and architectural heritage of the historic centre of Milano. Exhibits in showrooms, shops and companies and other artisan realities in the area are flanked by a cultural itinerary made up of museums (Pinacoteca Ambrosiana, Museo Archeologico), churches (Basilicas of Sant'Ambrogio and Sant'Alessandro), cloisters, archaeological sites, courtyards internal and ad hoc guided tours to discover a never seen Milano.

Furthermore, on April 10th at 18:30, the Design Pride, a street parade dedicated to design, returns with the procession of floats, music, dances and performances that will enliven the streets of the district.

For the design week 2019, Cuoremilano offers a creative space where to directly experiment, through workshops, the creation of objects of arts and crafts. Together with the workstations will be exhibited objects of handicraft production of Home Decor.
 

Exhibition of companies and designers awarded on 22 February 2019 with the Grandesignetico Certificate International Award to honour their commitment in the field of design with particular attention to ethics.

The idea is to create an interactive area through Augmented Reality, thanks to 18 tables, modern reinterpretations of the works of Leonardo da Vinci, made with recycled material and respecting the environment. Each is associated with an experience in Augmented Reality (eg video, 3D model) and a message that refers to the principles and values of respect for the environment, the city and citizenship and innovation as a characteristic feature of Milano.

DDNPhutura 2019 will be a concentrate of design and architecture, of innovative alternative solutions for home living and urban spaces. But also visionary installations that tell the 'ideal' city: light, dynamic, flexible and intelligent. A city that offers solutions to facilitate the relationship between human beings and their surroundings thanks to the use of technology, without forgetting the environment.

Presentation of the 2nd edition of the competition promoted by ITI Carlo Bazzi and ESEM-CPT in order to design and study building packaging systems by integrating different skills and creativity, with particular attention to safety in the workplace.
The contest is part of the wider BUILD OUR SAFETY project and is aimed at students of secondary schools, universities and design schools and under 35 designers and developers.

This redevelopment project of the Parco delle Basiliche involves the construction of three installations, called "ephemeral architectures", where visitors can take advantage of spaces designed for individual or flexible aggregate activities throughout the day. The purpose is to spread a new vision in living a public park, generating virtuous behaviours and revitalizing a place still abandoned today.

In the historical Palazzo Litta, every year during Design Week an installation is hosted inside the Cortile d’Onore, and a design exhibition on the first floor and in the Cortile dell’Orologio and at Teatro Litta.
