The Design Prize celebrates the international excellences that in the last 12 months have stood out for the successes achieved and for the beauty that they have been able to create.
The Restorative Design is a contemporary approach to design focused on the search for a new balance between man and nature and devoted to promoting recovery from stress and psychological regeneration. It is one of the main themes of the 22nd Triennale and inspired the exhibition of young designers, architects and photographers who present their projects on the Torre Branca Terrace.
DDNPhutura 2019 will be a concentrate of design and architecture, of innovative alternative solutions for home living and urban spaces. But also visionary installations that tell the 'ideal' city: light, dynamic, flexible and intelligent. A city that offers solutions to facilitate the relationship between human beings and their surroundings thanks to the use of technology, without forgetting the environment.
The workshops of Fondazione Franco Albini guide children to approach design following the rigorous method of the great architect: decomposition, search for essence, recomposition, verification and social responsibility. Starting from these criteria, children will be helped to develop creative thinking, orienting them to identify goals, exploring opportunities and devising solutions.
The show "La via del talento" is an immersive experience in Albini's Studio, which addresses the 5 principles of the Albini method as a recipe for professional and personal life; an emotional moment that starts a reflection on how the principles of this method can be functional to achieve excellence and to discover and enhance one's talent.
In the halls of the historic Studio Albini, guests will be accompanied on a narrative journey through the history and projects of the studio which will be accompanied by vintage drawings and photos, interviews and 3D reproductions, to learn about the creative process and the rigorous method of this great master.
