Fashion Hub at Palazzo Giureconsulti

From February 20th to 25th, 2024 - Piazza Mercanti 2

The Fashion Hub reopens its doors at Palazzo Giureconsulti, the prestigious venue selected by the National Chamber of Italian Fashion to feature talented young designers, and to focus on experimentation, innovation, craftsmanship, sustainability, inclusivity and education.

It is a space for presentations and networking where the scheduled fashion shows are livestreamed.

The inauguration will be held on Tuesday, February 20th at 17.00, and the Hub will be open to the public for the entire duration of Fashion Week, from Wednesday 21st February to Sunday 25th from 09:00 to 19:00.

This year’s projects that are accessible to the public will include: Designers For The Planet, now in its eighth edition, A Global Movement To Uplift Underrepresented Brands, now in its fourth edition, and MFW FORWARD, together with two educational projects that will be held as part of an extensive programme of Educational Talks and Cross Cultural Business Conversations

During the week, the Cittadellarte Foundation and Maestro Michelangelo Pistoletto will participate with two initiatives: Fashion for Planet Open Parliament and Fashion To Reconnect

As a CNMI media partner, Class Editori will have its own dedicated space in the Fashion Hub to conduct interviews and broadcast live content on the ClassTV Moda channel.

Likewise, inside the Hub, large screens will broadcast the scheduled fashion shows live.

Brands

Among the debuts on the catwalks for this edition, Sagaboi by Geoff Cooper and Feben will be featured, the latter being sponsored by Dolce&Gabbana.

Additionally, two brands - Marni and Elisabetta Franchi - will make their return to the physical fashion show calendar.

The catwalk shows are exclusive invitation-only events, but there will be no shortage of opportunities to watch them in live or deferred streaming.

DIESEL Runway-Show Fall/Winter 2024/25

February 18th - 21st, 2024

Following the success of the last edition, once again, DIESEL will raise the curtain of its runway show to present its new collection to the public.

The entire backstage process of the #DieselFW24 catwalk show will be accessible to all. From February 18th - 21st, the show’s styling, castings, ateliers and runway set-up will be available in live streaming on Diesel.com and Instagram, 24 hours a day.

Francesca Liberatore's fashion show

Sunday February 25th - Sala Verdi, Milan Conservatory

Following Diesel's example, Francesca Liberatore will also opt for an accessible fashion show format, and will open her upcoming FW24 show at the Milan Conservatory to the public.

The designer is offering a limited number of free tickets to all fashion devotees for her Autumn/Winter 2024-25 collection runway show, scheduled for Sunday February 25th at 17.30.

To request entry to the fashion show, please send an email to eventrequests@francescaliberatore.it, specifying the name and number of persons, by Friday February 23rd. Availability is limited and places are expected to sell out quickly!

Exhibitions

Amongst the cultural events of the week, we suggest Juergen Teller’s ‘I need to live’ exhibition at the Triennale Milano, open to the public until April 1st.

The exhibition is dedicated to the work of one of the most influential photographers of his generation. It explores the artist’s work and his distinctive style through a selection of photographs ranging from portraits to fashion, landscapes and other authentic works.

The title - I need to live - evokes an exploration of the very essence of life through the unique, and often provocative eye, of the German photographer.
