The Supersalone will finally make a welcome return to Milano on September 5th as a special event of the Salone del Mobile event that, this year, symbolizes a restart for Milano and the furniture and design industry in general, following the most acute phase of the pandemic. It will be held in Rho-Fieramilano from September 5th to 10th and will be open to members of the public in possession of a Green Pass. Entry 15 euros (tickets available only on www.www.salonemilano.it/).

The Supersalone is curated by Stefano Boeri, the urban planner and architect of Bosco Verticale, who has designed a journey that traces the entire history of Italian industrial design from the 1950s to today, through the four trade fair pavilions occupied by the 425 brands on display. 

The first furniture and design companies have already started setting up their stands which, for this edition, are giant walls that enable visitor flow without crowding throughout the Supersalone. Two hundred trees will be planted to offset the environmental impact of the fair and, for the first time ever, visitors will be able to purchase the design objects on display.

The health protocols in force (face masks are mandatory) will ensure a safe and comfortable experience. Four hubs will also be open onsite where visitors without a Green Pass will be able to carry out rapid antigen swabs tests.
