Villaggio delle Meraviglie Winter Wonderland – Giardini Indro Montanelli

Where: Via Palestro

When: November 18th, 2023 - January 7th, 2024

 

As per tradition, the Christmas Village at the Indro Montanelli Gardens always has an ice rink... or two, as is the case this year! It’s one double rink, partly covered and heated, and partly outdoors, to cater for all tastes.

The covered Baby rink is reserved for children up to 8 years old and beginners up to the age of 10 accompanied by adults. 

 

The rink is open every day with skate rentals and beginners’ lessons available. For those who prefer to bring their own skates, the entry ticket costs the same, but without any time limit.

Piazza San Babila

Where: Piazza San Babila

When: December 6th, 2023 - January 7th, 2024

 

The newly renovated Piazza San Babila, restyled for the opening of the new M4 metro station in the direction of Linate airport, will be transformed into an outdoor entertainment area for all ages.

 

Have fun beneath the lofty 14-metre fir tree on the 300m2 ice rink, open from December 6th to January 7th every day from 10:00 to 19:00 and on Saturdays until 21:00. The proceeds will be entirely donated to various civic projects organised by three non-profit associations.

 

Inauguration on January 6th at 18:30 with performances by junior ice skaters in a show set to music from the Nutcracker, followed by a performance from the Rejoice Gospel Choir.

 

Every day at 19:00, until December 23rd, don't miss the spectacular ice-skating performances by the award-winning skaters from the Milanese Ladybirds and Hot Shivers skating schools.

Senstation On Ice at Central Station

Where: Piazza Duca d'Aosta

When: December 7th, 2023 - January 7th, 2024

 

The Senstation on Ice spectacular arrives at the piazza in front of the Central Station for this holiday season, a lovely Christmas village evoking the typical settings of Nordic winter landscapes.

 

The 1,500 m2 ice rink is accessible to all, free of charge, with the option of renting skates and fun animal sleds for little ones. Don't miss the special ice shows organised throughout the festive period.

 

The village will be open during the week from 11:00 to 22:00, on Saturdays, Sundays and festive days from 10:00 to 23:00.

Winter at the Bagni Misteriosi

Where: Via Carlo Botta, 18

When: November 25th, 2023 – January 7th, 2024

 

Bagni Misteriosi skating rink at the Caimi swimming pool is a special experience because… it is suspended over the water! Open from November 25th to January 7th, from 10:30 to 20:30, you can either opt to rent skates or bring your own.

Fun animal sleds and helmet rental are also available for young skaters.

 

You can also enjoy an aperitivo beneath the twinkling Apulian Christmas lights or shop at the weekend Christmas markets and join in the workshops organised for children. Please visit the official website for timetables and further details.

Piazza Città di Lombardia – Palazzo della Regione

Outdoor skating indoors? It might seem a bit counterintuitive, but it’s definitely possible in Milano!
In Piazza Città di Lombardia, the Palazzo della Regione embraces a large 4000m2 piazza beneath a 32 metre-high metal and glass vault. So, it feels like being outdoors... but it’s under cover!

The ideal place to skate for this chilly Christmas season.

 

You can rent skates and fun animal skating sleds, or you can bring your own. The rink is open in the afternoons on weekdays and all day on festive days. Check out all the details on the official website.

A Christmas Magic at Allianz MiCo

Where: Milano Convention Center MiCo - Viale Eginardo entrance – Gate 2

When: from December 7th to January 7th, 2023

 

The ice rink runs through the entire A Christmas Magic indoor village, at the Allianz MiCo - Milano Convention Centre. An enchanted path that winds for 1800 m2, up to the wintery vantage point from where you can admire the entire village.

 

You can rent skates or opt to bring your own, and you can also rent fun animal sleds for novice skaters. The rink and the village are open every day from 10:00 to 22:00. Have fun in one of the largest indoor villages in Italy!

 

Entry to the rink is included in the admission ticket to the village.
