The exhibition organized at the Teatro alla Scala Museum from December 4, 2018 to September 30, 2019 tells the 240-years history of the Theater, from its foundation on a project by architect Giuseppe Piermarini, to the new expansion project designed by Mario Botta.
What Stendhal called "the first theatre in the world" saw King, Emperors, revolutions, wars, architects and world-famous artists who have redesigned his face.
During the visit, it will also be possible to admire the half divided wooden model of the theatre, which allows a global vision of the whole structure, from the main entrance of Piermarini, to the intervention of Botta. Of particular beauty, it allows you to admire all the internal balconies of the Theater with their respective decorations, the pit of the orchestra and much more.
Thanks to the use of Tablets, important and additional information on the Theater will be projected through augmented reality.
