When classical music meets electro music
“Classica, elettronica e fantastica” starts from Stravinskij and it reaches Nils Frahm, using piano and equaliser. Le Cannibale - travelling music crew - and Saturnalia - from Macao to an institutional location - sign this party which aims to experience the sound. Opposites attract through music, from classical to electro, and through spaces, from Castello Sforzesco to disco.
The concert starts with Sebastiano De Gennaro, one of the three founders of 19’40’’, a music serie and not a label, that every four months realizes a new work linked to the ones before by the same approach: exploring classical music in an anti-classical way. To follow, electro dj-set in the green frame of Parco Sempione. Between walls once defended the Lords of Milan, this summer Estate Sforzesca promotes the message how traditional culture can embrace the contemporary one.
