Jeff Mills is one of the legends of techno music and more. Indeed, in the early 1980s, he was renamed "The Wizard", thanks to his exceptional technical skills behind the consolle. He is the bridge between Detroit and Berlin, a connection that resonates in 4/4 techno sounds and starts from the collective-label, Underground Resistance - born in America and landed in Germany.
His ability to create unique sets, consistently using three musical dishes, was documented in the film Exhibitionist (2004), before the video format became as viral as it is today. His soundtrack for the film Metropolis by Fritz Lang is also famous since it is pure contemporary electronic poetry. Jeff Mills is a producer who moves from mechanical sounds to those that speak to the cosmos. When you go to listen to his DJ set, a thrill of music probably will traverse your body.
