At the Museum of Science and Technology in Milano you can visit the largest permanent exhibition in the world dedicated to Leonardo Da Vinci - italian engineer, humanist and nature explorer.
In January 2020 there are three extraordinary openings, scheduled for Friday 17, 24 and 31, in the unusual time between 5 and 9 pm: this is an excellent opportunity to get to know the Genius' works and give yourself some "cultural relaxation" at the end of a day of work or study.
The scenographic itinerary of the exhibition covers 1.300 square meters and includes 170 historical models, artworks, ancient volumes and installations able to tell the evolution of Leonardo’s thought, in an experience that involves the emotional, intellectual and physical dimension of the visitor, thanks to which the figure of the great Italian artist emerges in its completeness and complexity.
These New Galleries renew the historical setting with which the Museum opened to the public in 1953, and represent a unique cultural resource to inspire the new generations, the world of research and enthusiasts of all ages.
A spectacular display accompanies the visitor on a journey that, starting from the Florence of the Fifteenth Century, retraces Leonardo's training until his stay in the Milano of Sforza. The path winds between the art of war, work and production, the studies on flight, the waterways and the architecture, and it ends with a look at Leonardo’s influence in Renaissance Lombard painting and with an immersive installation dedicated to the drawings of his last years.
