To tell Ame’s story, it is possible to start from the name they chose for their personal label, born as the rib of the prestigious Sonar Kollektive that launched the German duo in the Olympus of the electronic scene: Innervisions, a contraction that recalls the concept of "inner visions ". Here, all the sound research by Frank Wiedman and Kristian Beyer aims to fathom the beat of the human soul through the beat of their music vision, something mystical and at the same time psychedelic, on the border between dancefloor and subconscious. It looks inside a kaleidoscope of tech-house music, which radiates towards different directions, also far from each other: from the vintage patina of the disco-funk to the metropolitan pulsations of Detroit, with disturbing basslines and an afro-soul echo.

After a ten-year career, Wiedmann and Beyer on the one hand recently celebrated their glorious past with an anthology entitled "Ame: Live", on the other they proved to be decidedly on the piece with their latest work "Dream House", released in June 2018. The first is a precious reasoned anthology and fortunately not a jumble of traces passed off as best of; the second is a sort of concept album inspired by the Fluxus Artistic Movement and time travel theories. We advise you to face their return to Milan, on December 13th at the Apollo, just like a journey: to distant worlds and at the same time inside yourself.
