La Scala UNDER30 is the project that Teatro alla Scala dedicates to young people.
From 15 January to 16 February 2020 the opera ROMÉO ET JULIETTE of Gounod will be back on stage. The production is prepared by the much praised Bartlett Sher, traditional in the scenes, but modern in the work of acting.
Lorenzo Viotti, designated director of the Amsterdam Opera when 30 years-old and already present in the seasons of the great European orchestras, debuts with an opera at La Scala with a masterpiece of the French repertoire and an extraordinary cast : Diana Damrau, Vittorio Grigolo, Mattia Olivieri, Sara Mingardo, and Marina Viotti.
