PUBLIC TRANSPORT

 

The station is served by the underground lines M2 and M3 run by the ATM company and by many lines of the Passante underground Railway.

PARKING AREA

 

In the square in front of the station, near the entrance, there are two parking spaces for disabled parking permit holders and a tactile route for people who are visually impaired. 

In the square there are taxi stands and a paying car park with automatic payment machine.

The stretch from the parking lot to the entrance of the station does not have obstacles to mobility.

AT THE STATION

 

The station is spread over 3 floors, connected to each other by an accessible glass elevator, open from 5 to 11 pm (wide cabin, acoustic and visual signal of arrival at the floor, level buttons panel with embossed Braille printing). It is also possible to use escalators or stairs with handrails on both sides.

 

The ground floor directly overlooks Piazza Freud and houses tracks from 1 to 13, the Trenord ticket office and some automatic ticket machines. Everything is accessible. On the first floor there are offices that are not open to the public.

 

In the basement there are: some automatic ticket machines; toilets accessible to people with disabilities; accessible elevators leading to tracks from 14 to 20; turnstiles to get to the M2 and M5 underground trains and the turnstiles of the Passante underground Railway.

 

CONNECTIONS BETWEEN UNDERGROUND AND PASSANTE UNDERGROUND RAILWAY 

 

From the turnstiles of the Passante underground Railway you can reach the tracks of the trains of the suburban public transport service through accessible elevators (large cabin, acoustic and visual signal of arrival at the floor, level buttons panel with embossed Braille printing). 

 

From the turnstiles of underground M2 you can reach the level of the M2 tracks by stairlift in both directions.

 

To get to the M5 underground line, you must pass the turnstiles of the M2 line and, through a path of about 50 m, you reach the accessible elevator that takes you to the track level (large cabin, acoustic and visual signal of arrival at the floor, level buttons panel with embossed Braille printing).
