Parking
It is possible to park along the blue lines in Foro Bonaparte, in front of the entrance to the museum there are two parking spaces reserved for people with permits for citizens with disability.

Information for visitors
Guided tours for children and groups are available; in the exhibition rooms are available texts illustrating the artworks in 6 different languages (Italian, English, German, French, Spanish and Russian).

Entrance
The main entrance has 4 consecutive steps (15 cm, handrail on the left side) and two consecutive doors: the first one is a double swing door (144 cm) and the second is a swing door (84 cm).

Reception
The ticket office is sited in the entrance hall (counter height 75 cm).

Exhibition itinerary
The museum is on two floors linked by a flight of stairs of 21 steps (h 17cm, handrail on the left). A stairlift for wheelchairs is available. The museum hosts important collections of Buddhist and African art and a teaching section dedicated to Leonardo da Vinci. Each room deals with a specific topic. On the ground floor there is a laboratory and 2 rooms dedicated to temporary exhibitions (door 90 cm) with parquet floor.
On floor -1, there is a room with tapestries and rare antique rugs and 13 halls contain exhibits of antique objects and artefacts, with educational tours that allow visitors to recognize the authenticity of the works thanks to microscopes, magnifying glasses (h 80 cm) and lighting. To reach the last exhibition rooms, which house the Asian and Buddhist collections, there are two flights of 2 steps (17 cm).

The washroom is on the ground floor and it has these features:

• swing door (94 cm),
• WC on the ground (frontal space 79 cm, right-hand space 20 cm, left-hand space 21 cm).
