Information for visitors
Entrance fee: discounts or no charge for persons with disabilities are offered at the discretion of the organizers of the exhibitions.
A manual wheelchair is available.
Free printed guides are available.

 

Entrance
It is possible to enter in the museum's courtyard overcoming a wide gate and after a few meters it is possible to reach the building entrance, that has a wide rotating door with swing doors (120 cm).

 

Reception
In the entrance hall there is the ticket office-bookshop (counter height 84 cm).

 

Lift
The building is on three floors, all linked by a lift.
Main features:

  • door 88 cm, cabin 150x150 cm,
  • Braille control panel at a maximum height of 114 cm,
  • acoustic and visual signal for arrival at the floor.

 

Exhibition itinerary
The Padiglione d'Arte Contemporanea (PAC) is an exhibition space exclusively dedicated to contemporary art, where national and international artistic initiatives are promoted. The PAC develops on three floors and it has a large and sparkling glass window looking on the gorgeous garden of Villa Reale.
It has been restored in 1996 and it is totally accessible by people with disabilities. The mezzanine floor has 5 exhibition rooms, wide and free of obstacles. It is possible to reach the hall of the parterre overcoming 5 steps or, alternatively, an inclined ramp (slope 7%, handrail on the left).
On the first floor there are two exhibition rooms.

 

Restrooms
On the ground floor there is a restroom reserved for persons with disabilities: it is spacious and equipped with grab bars.
