Parking
At 50 m from the entrance, in Viale Alemagna, there are 2 parking spaces reserved for disabled parking permit holders. 2 more parking spaces are in Via Luigi Camoens, about 200 m from the Museum.

Information for visitors

Visitors with disabilities (100% disabled persons, blind and deaf people or those have an indennità di accompagnamento) can get tickets at a reduced price while the companion is free of charge.

 

 

Entrance
The theatre is on floor -1 of the Palazzo dell'Arte, headquarter of the Museo Triennale Milano.

The entrance has 3 consecutive steps (14 cm) or an inclined ramp on the left side of the façade (slope of 5%, 6 m long, handrail on both sides).

To enter the building you must overcome two consecutive double-leaf doors (79 cm each).

 

 

Reception
In the entrance hall, on the ground floor, there are:

  • the info-point/cloakroom (counter height: 101 cm)
  • the ticket office (counter height: 110 cm with a part lowered at 78 cm).

 

 

Lift
The lift is in the entrance hall on the ground floor and it links all the floors of the building (-1, 0, +1, +2). It has the following features:

  • door width: 80 cm, cabin 133x157 cm,
  • raised control panel at a maximum height of 118 cm,
  • acoustic and visual signal for arrival at the floor
  • emergency bell at a maximum height of 123 cm.

To use it to reach floor -1, where the theatre is, you must ask the staff for the key. Once on floor-1, people with disabilities are accompanied along an accessible path leading to the gallery. On the way you must overcome an inclined ramp (15 m long, slope of 5%, handrail on both sides).

 

 

Theatre hall

The theatre has 500 seats and develops on three levels: stalls, balcony and gallery.

The balcony is accessible to wheelchair users and has 3 places reserved for people with motor disabilities and 3 places reserved for wheelchair users.

Performances are surtitled in italian and english.

 

 

Restrooms
On the ground floor there is a restroom equipped for people with disability and one for children.

The second restroom equipped for people with disabilities is on the first floor and has the following characteristics:

  • toilet with hinged door (90 cm wide)
  • suspended washbasin (clear floor space: in front 160 cm)
  • suspended toilet (clear floor area: in front: 95 cm; on the right side: 27 cm; on the left side 140 cm; grab bar on the left side of the toilet and handrail on the right side).
  • high contrast symbols indicating toilet facilities, positioned at eye level, using medium to large size letters.

On floor -1, near the balcony of the theatre, there is an equipped toilet for people with disabilities with the following characteristics:

  • dressing room with hinged door (89 cm wide) and suspended washbasin (clear floor area: in front: 200 cm)
  • toilet with sliding door (83 cm wide) and suspended washbasin (clear floor area: in front: 100 cm)
  • floor-standing toilet (clear floor area: in front: 100 cm; on the right side: 26 cm; on the left side: 115 cm).

 

 

Emergency exit
Emergency routes are well indicated.

There is an acoustic and visual alarm.

 

 

Caffè Triennale
The Cafeteria is on the ground floor and can be reached from the entrance by crossing the hall. It's on a raised platform preceded by 8 steps or, to avoid them, you can use a stairlift. It has a large room (70 seats), furnished with square tables with a central leg (free space underneath 73 cm).

Meals for people with celiac disease, vegetarian and vegans are provided.

 

 

“Terrazza Triennale” Restaurant
The restaurant is on the second floor and from here you have a wonderful view on Milan's skyline. It has a hinged door (102 cm wide), an inside room and a terrace; it is furnished with four leg tables (clear space underneath 73 cm).

Meals for people with celiac disease, vegetarian and vegans are provided.
