Parking
The UCI Cinemas Bicocca is located on the second floor of the Bicocca Village. You can park in the large multi-storey garage (179 parking spaces), which has about 40 parking spaces reserved for disabled parking permit holders. The garage has an elevator that leads to the ground floor and to the first floor of the Bicocca Village. From the elevator you reach the Uci Cinema (2nd floor) passing two double leaf doors (103 cm wide each) and using the panoramic internal lift of the Bicocca Village.

Entrance
The main entrance to the Bicocca Village has a ramp (slope of 3%, 36 m long, 5 m wide) and a large automatic sliding door (260 cm wide). To reach the cinema, located on the second floor, you can use the lifts or the panoramic internal lift.

 

Orientation signage
In the building, there are directional arrows with high contrast and large lettering (at least 7 cm).

 

Reception
The ticket office is located in the cinema foyer (counter height: 105 cm).

Some films are in original language and subtitled in Italian; for some films you can download an App for text display specific for deaf people.

The staff is at your disposal for any information you may require and for reception services.

 

Tariff concessions
Reduced ticket for disabled persons and their companions, free admission for wheelchair users.

 

Lift
The garage lift has the following characteristics:

  • door width: 90 cm, cabin: inner space: 155x126 cm,
  • lift level button panel with embossed Braille printing at a maximum height of 133 cm,
  • acoustic and visual signal of arrival on each floor.

The two panoramic lifts, connecting the different floors of the Bicocca Village (0, 1 and 2), have the following characteristics:

  • door width: 90 cm (cabin: inner space 117x180 cm),
  • internal control panel at a maximum height of 118 cm,
  • emergency bell at a maximum height of 125 cm,
  • acoustic and visual signal of arrival on each floor.

 

Cinema halls
The cinema has 18 halls, all carpeted: on the left side there are halls from 1 to 9, on the right side halls from 10 to 18.

Hall 1 and 18 (264 seats) have a double leaf door entrance (95 cm wide each) and in the middle of the hall there are 2 seats reserved for wheelchair users and 2 for their companions.

Hall 2 and 17 (679 seats) have a double leaf door entrance (95 cm wide each) and in the middle of the hall there are 4 seats reserved for wheelchair users and 4 for their companions.

Hall 3 and 16 (395 seats) have a double leaf door entrance (95 cm wide each) and in the middle of the hall there are 4 seats reserved for wheelchair users and 4 for their companions.

Hall 4 and 15 (303 seats) have a double leaf door entrance (95 cm wide each) and in the middle of the hall there are 2 seats reserved for wheelchair users and 2 for their companions.

Hall 5 and 14 (248 seats) have a double leaf door entrance (95 cm wide each) and in the middle of the hall there are 2 seats reserved for wheelchair users and 2 for their companions.

Hall 6, 7, 12 and 13 (179 seats) have a double leaf door entrance (95 cm wide each) and in the middle of the hall there are 2 seats reserved for wheelchair users and 2 for their companions.

Hall 8 and 11 (248 seats) have a double leaf door entrance (95 cm wide each) and in the middle of the hall there are 2 seats reserved for wheelchair users and 2 for their companions.

Hall 9 and 10 (267 seats) have a double leaf door entrance (95 cm wide each) and in the middle of the hall there are 2 seats reserved for wheelchair users and 2 for their companions.

 

Toilet facilities
Accessible toilets for people with disabilities are located in the halls: 3 on the left side (halls 1 to 9) and 3 on the right side (halls 10 to 18).The first accessible toilet has the following characteristics:

  • toilet with hinged door: 90 cm wide
  • wall-mounted washbasin (clear floor area: in front: 142 cm)
  • floor-standing toilet (clear floor area: in front: 153 cm; on the right side 39 cm; on the left side 136 cm; without handles, handrail around the perimeter of the bathroom)
  • high contrast symbols indicating toilet facilities, positioned at eye level, using medium to large size letters.

The second accessible toilet has the following characteristics:

  • toilet with hinged door (92 cm wide)
  • wall-mounted washbasin (clear floor area: in front: 130 cm)
  • floor-standing toilet (clear floor area: in front: 194 cm; on the right side 24 cm; on the left side 127 cm; without handles, handrail around the perimeter of the bathroom)
  • high contrast symbols indicating toilet facilities, positioned at eye level, using medium to large size letters.

The third accessible toilet has the following characteristics:

  • toilet with hinged door (92 cm wide)
  • wall-mounted washbasin (clear floor area: in front: 162 cm)
  • floor-standing toilet (clear floor area: in front: 178 cm; on the right side 160 cm; on the left side 23 cm; without handles, handrail around the perimeter of the bathroom)
  • high contrast symbols indicating toilet facilities, positioned at eye level, using medium to large size letters.

 

Cafeteria
The Uci Cinemas cafeteria is located on the second floor, to the right of the ticket office. The room (30 seats) is furnished with square tables with central leg (clear space below 71 cm, counter height: 96 cm).

 

Restaurant
On the first floor there is a dining area and there are several restaurants, furnished with square tables with four legs or with a central leg (clear space below: from 66 to 72 cm).

Meals for vegetarians and children are provided.

 

Emergency exits
Emergency routes are well indicated. The building has an acoustic and visual alarm device.
