Entrance
Access to the courtyard is by a gate in the car park (114 cm wide). The surface is loose gravel. Visitors using wheelchairs or with reduced mobility are advised to go to the caretaker's lodge in the monastery to ask for the entrance door to the abbey to be opened in full, as the section which is normally left open is too narrow. The entrance to the abbey also has 1 step (h 3 cm).

Direction signs
The following signs are located on the outside:

  • direction signs with large, clearly visible characters (at least 7 cm)
  • a column-mounted audio guide (h 84 cm from ground level) in Italian, English, French and Russian.

Exhibition layout
Inside the abbey, which is one of the most important mediaeval complexes in Lombardy, the central nave, lateral names and Santissimo Chapel can be visited without barriers.
