Entrance
The entrance has 4 steps (h 14 cm), which can be avoided by using a ramp (12 m long, slope of 6%) to the left of the large square in front of the church. To enter the church you must overcome a threshold (2 cm), a step (h. 11 cm), and two double leaf doors (93 cm wide each). In order to avoid this last step, it is possible to contact the parish secretary (phone no. 02 89404129) and a removable ramp can be placed (slope of 4%, 97 cm long).

Accessibility for people with sensory disabilities
Inside the church there is an informative panel (h 84 cm from the ground) with a short text in Italian, in English and in Braille. The central part of the panel has a raised plan allowing disable visitors to orienteer inside the building. A depiction of the façade integrates visual and tactile contents. By scanning the QR Code or a NFC code with your smartphone, you have access various contents: audio contents, suitable for people with visual impairment and video contents with subtitles and translation of the texts in Lis (Italian Sign Language) suitable for people with hearing impairment. After a short introduction about the building history, it describes its structure, some artworks and its façade.

Interior spaces
The basilica, one of the most ancient in Milan, was remodeled several times over the centuries till its present appearance. Of the ancient paleo-christian basilica only the cappella di Sant'Aquilino and the cappella di Sant'Ippolito have remained. The central nave and the aisle are accessible.
The cappella di Sant'Aquilino was originally a separate building and can be accessed from the right aisle. To access the Chapel people generally have to pay a ticket but admission is free for disabled people. The atrium of the chapel is accessible; it used to be decorated with mosaics and today we can admire only some of them whose figures are particularly expressive.
To visit the crypt and the basement inside the chapel you must overcome 3 steps (h 16 cm) before the altar, 16 steps (h 16 cm) and a passageway (80 cm wide).
The Cappella Cittadini is on the right of the altar; to visit it you must overcome a hinged door (110 cm wide) and 3 steps (16 cm) with handrail on the left. In the apse of the altar there is a bas-relief of the XV century, pews (h 50 cm) and chairs (45 cm).
To access the Cappella di S. Ippolito you must overcome 1 step (h 14 cm). In the chapel there are pews (seat height: 45 cm).
