The courses of study for the achievement of the first level academic degree of the School of Communication and Teaching of Contemporary Art offer a basic preparation preparatory to two main profiles: • on the one hand they have the objective of ensuring an adequate mastery of the methods and communication techniques, as well as the acquisition of specific artistic and professional skills in order to provide students with knowledge and methodologies of transmission and communication of the methods of realization of works of art, of their interpretation and use. • On the other hand, they have the purpose of developing theoretical and design skills specifically aimed at the transmission of artistic knowledge, both historiographical and expressive, through the design of the management of laboratory courses - in the presence or at a distance - of art education. The courses also aim to provide adequate training for the management of spaces and tools for the dissemination of cultural heritage, both through traditional means and through new multimedia technologies, with particular regard to the museum and exhibition events. Graduates of the School's diploma courses must: - possess adequate technical and operational training, methods and contents in the fields of communication, set-up, museology and museography and art teaching; - possess methodological and critical tools adequate to the acquisition of skills related to expressive languages, the most advanced techniques and technologies; - possess pedagogical-didactic and hermeneutical knowledge useful for the planning of specific learning paths; - possess good cultural and technical skills related to new multimedia communication technologies; - be able to effectively use at least one language of the European Union, in addition to the mother tongue, in the specific sphere of competence and for the exchange of general information; - possess the knowledge of IT tools and electronic communication in the specific areas of competence.
