I-Days Milano 2024 at the Hippodromes

I-DAYS, the independent music festival that started in 1999, takes over the San Siro neighbourhood with stages at the SNAI San Siro and La Maura racecourses.

 

This year, the festival will kick off on Wednesday, May 29th with rock group Metallica, followed by the queen of dream-pop Lana del Rey on 4th June. Green Day will perform on the 16th, while Doja Cat will take to the stage on the 27th.

 

Ligurian rapper Tedua will play a double bill on June 29th and 30th, followed by Queens of the Stone Age on July 6th, and Bring Me The Horizon the following day.

 

Then Sum 41, Avril Lavigne and Simple Plan are all highly-anticipated shows for July 9th. The festival will wrap up with a bang on July 12th with South Korean k-pop band Stray Kids.

 

 

HOW TO GET TO THE HIPPODROMES

 

To reach the hippodrome by public transport, you can use the M5 metro (Lilac Line) and the M1 metro (Red Line). Get off at the Lotto stop and take the Piazzale Lotto, Stadio-Ippodromo exit. The entrance to the festival is located in Via Diomede 1.

To arrive by bus, take the lines 48-49-68-78-90 (Right Circular), 91 (Left Circular) or 98.

The big names at San Siro Stadium

In addition to hosting football matches, San Siro Stadium is also renown as an epic venue for numerous concerts by national and international stars.

The Boss Bruce Springsteen kicks off the season on June 1st and 3rd, followed by Vasco Rossi with an awesome seven dates from June 7th to 20th.

 

The super-popular band Negramaro will take to the stage on June 22nd, while Sferaebbasta will bring trap to Milano on 24th and 26th. Club Dogo, who have reaffirmed the rap genre throughout Italy, will be the headliners on June 28th, and will be followed by a nostalgia tour courtesy of Max Pezzali from June 30th to July 2nd and Zucchero on July 4th.

 

Last but definitely not least, the most-anticipated artist of the year - Taylor Swift - will perform on July 13th and 14th for the only Italian dates of her European tour.

 

 

HOW TO GET TO THE STADIUM

 

The stadium is accessible by metro, either with the M5 Lilac Line San Siro Stadio stop, or with the M1Red Line Lotto stop, which is just a 15-minute walk away.

You can also arrive with bus 49 and get off at the Via Harar stop. Alternatively, take tram 16 from Piazza Fontana and get off at the Piazzale Axum terminus.
Once the concerts are over, the M5 Lilac Line Ippodromo and Segesta stops will be inaccessible. Instead, you can use the San Siro Stadio stop on the M5, or the Lotto stop on the M1, a 15-minute walk away.

Milano Latin Festival

The Milano Latin Festival, the most important musical event dedicated to Spanish-American sounds for over thirty years, will make its return from June 9th to July 27th. This year, Latin music lovers will be able to sing and dance in a new location: Ticketmaster Arena in via Gaetano Airaghi 61.

 

Colombian salsa band, Guayacan Orquesta, will kick off the festival on June 9th, this will be followed by performances from Juan Luis Guerra and Rochy RD on July 5th and 6th.

 

Then on Friday, July 19th Christian Nodal will take to the stage, followed by Niche on the 26th.

 

For the first time ever at the Milano Latin Festival, the popular Argentine duo Pimpinela will perform on July 27th.

 

 

 

HOW TO GET TO THE MILANO LATIN FESTIVAL

 

The Ticketmaster Arena is located in the new location of Via Gaetano Airaghi, 61 – C/O Acquatica Park.

It is accessible by bus line 76. (Via Airaghi Via Q.To Romano stop).

International stars at the Mediolanum Forum in Assago

Young New York rapper Lil Tjay will kick off his tour with an unmissable gig at Mediolanum Forum in Assago on Saturday, May 4th, then on May 28th the Jonas Brothers return to Italy, after four years, for the only Italian date of their world tour.

 

Karol G, the queen of Latin trap, is highly anticipated on June 25th and 26th.

 

HOW TO GET TO THE FORUM

 

The Mediolanum Forum (Via Giuseppe di Vittorio, 6) is served by the Assago - Milanofiori Forum stop of the M2 metro. From here, the forum can be reached via a pedestrian bridge.

Fiera Milano Live 2024

The Fiera Milano Live concerts make a welcome return for Milano's summer arena where you can enjoy gigs by exceptional artists.

 

This year, gothic metal group Evanescence will warm up the audience on June 12th, followed on June 15th by Salmo and Noyz who will bring their new collaboration to the stage.

On July 3rd, all eyes will be on international artist Nicki Minaj then 2024 Sanremo Festival runner-up Geolier will bring his Neapolitan rap to Milano on July 6th.
