The much-anticipated Milano Digital Week will be back from May 25th to 30th 2020 in a new edition: completely online, due to the pandemic crisis.

The theme will be "Transformed City", to talk about this strange time that highlights the resilience of our city.

The event, which is an opportunity for thought and discussion, is open to citizens, companies, students, millennials, institutions, universities and research centres.

Amongst the most important events of this edition is a mega virtual Hackathon - a real digital innovation marathon - focused on the UN’s 8 Sustainable Development Goals that make up the 2030 Agenda relating to the various areas of social, economic and environmental development of our planet.

Phase 2 will be addressed in the digital round table “Diritti e tecnologie della ripartenza” (Rights and technologies in the upswing) coordinated by the Universities of Milan and Bologna, with the major digital players in Italy comprising Facebook, Amazon and Google. A dialogue between policy makers, legal experts and managers of enterprises in the technology and innovation sector.

WRAP PARTY

On Saturday May 30th at 21:00, Venerus, one of the most eclectic and popular up-and-coming indie artists of the moment, will wrap up the event with the first-ever streamed concert with paying audiences in Italy (tickets - at a nominal fee - can be purchased here) live from the Leonardo da Vinci National Museum of Science and Technology.
