Milano Arch Week is the annual not-to-be-missed event in Milano that explores contemporary urban transformation in the company of protagonists of international architecture.

The schedule usually the covers an entire week but this year, in response to the global crisis, the format is radically changed to enable plenary online participation. It will be concentrated in one day, Saturday 16th May 2020: 11:00 - 19:00.

The Milano Arch Week Marathon will be available on this page (scroll down to view the video), on the Triennale Milano, Milano Arch Week and Fondazione Feltrinelli official Facebook pages and on the Triennale’s Youtube channel.

Starting from 11:00, the Urban Center of Milano - a space dedicated to architecture at the Triennale - will inaugurate its annual programme with an open discussion on the Milano 2020 adaptation strategy between the Municipality of Milano and the groups selected in the Urban Factor call for ideas.

The Marathon will start in the afternoon with the participation of the great international architects who have worked in Milano, together with the Milanese architects who unearthed hidden treasures of the post-war city. Some of the international speakers participating in the debate are Petra Blaisse (Parco Biblioteca degli Alberi), Peter Eisenman (Carlo Erba Residences), BIG - Bjarke Ingels Group (new CityLife, in the planning stage), Rem Koolhaas (Prada Foundation), Patrik Schumacher - Zaha Hadid Architects (City Life), Kazuyo Sejima + Ryue Nishizawa | SANAA (Bocconi Campus).

Lastly, the Giangiacomo Feltrinelli Foundation will preview excerpts from its "About a City: A Human Place" urban regeneration programme.
