    Christmas Market in Piazza Duomo

    From December 1st, 2023 to January 6th, 2024

    Once again, this year, the extremely popular Christmas market returns to Piazza Duomo. Much loved by Milanese and visitors alike, the twinkling lights and vibrant decorations create an appealing festive atmosphere.

     

    From December 1st, 2023 to January 6th, 2024 the typical festive wooden huts encircling the cathedral perimeter will tout traditional sweet and savoury delicacies, textiles and clothes, artisan crafted products, cosmetics and a wonderful selection of items. The perfect place to shop for your Christmas gifts for friends and family.

     

    Furthermore, there will be no shortage of events for younger visitors, who will be able to visit Santa's grotto to choose their gift and then admire the life-size nativity scene.

     

    The market will be open every day from 8:30 to 22:00.

    Oh Bej! Oh Bej! Christmas market

    From 7th to 10th, December 2023

    On the occasion of the feast of Sant'Ambrogio the Oh Bej! Oh Bej! market makes its welcome return, an annual festive tradition in Milan for over five centuries!

     

    As is customary, from December 7th to 10th, 2023, the Castello Sforzesco will be encircled by an array of stalls selling artisanal artefacts, gastronomic delights, children's toys and lots more surprises.

     

    Absolutely not to be missed are the traditional ‘necklaces’ of roasted chestnuts, namely the ‘Firunatt’ or ‘Firòn’, perfect nourishment to beat the December cold.

    Banco di Garabombo – The ethical Christmas market

    From November 4th, 2023 to January 7th, 2024

    If you wish to purchase sustainable food items, cosmetics and artisan products with a low environmental impact, don't miss the traditional Banco di Garabombo Christmas market, open every day from November 4th, to January 7th, from 9:00 to 20:00, in the square off via Mario Pagano.

     

    Inside the mega marquee you can find lots of gift ideas, from accessories and ethical fashion items to natural cosmetics, not forgetting household items and books for all ages. You could opt for Made in Italy produce from the Marche, Tuscany and Sicily regions or choose to sample delights from foreign countries such as couscous and Medjool dates from Palestine.

    Winter Wonderland - Indro Montanelli Gardens

    From November 18th to January 7th, 2024

    What better place than the Villaggio delle Meraviglie Winter Wonderland to savour the magic and warmth of Christmas?

     

    The Milano Christmas Village, open to the public from November 18th to January 7th, 2024, can be found within the Porta Venezia Intro Montanelli Gardens and, once again this year, it will host the Christmas gift market.

     

    Nestled amidst the twinkling lights, with a backdrop of traditional Christmas-themed music, the street food stalls will offer lots of delicacies to delight the palate: deliciously stuffed panini, churros with hot chocolate, polenta, roasted chestnuts and candy floss are just some of the most popular seasonal wares.
