Frida Kahlo was the most famous Latin American painter of the twentieth century and, from October 10th 2020 to March 28th 2021, the Fabbrica del Vapore offers a unique opportunity to delve into the dramatic existence that this iconic artist shared with her husband Diego Rivera. He was one of the most important muralists in Mexico and their passionate and creative partnership elevated their status to one of the most emblematic couples in the history of world art.
This stunning interactive sensory journey details her colourful and chaotic existence and gives visitors a chance to get up close to Frida's life and works and her intriguing relationship with Diego Rivera.
It is an opportunity to experience her unbridled creativity, her everyday life and the elements of popular culture that were so dear to her through the displays of her clothes and objects.
The final playful and fun part of the exhibition, suitable for all ages, presents a 10D multimedia room that combines extremely high resolution videos, sounds and special effects for an awesome sensory experience of augmented reality through her universe.
