Communication campaign

For this edition, the location scouting was focused on the tale of an unusual side of Milan for the world of fashion: the Balera dell'Ortica suburban area.

Shot by photographer Paolo Zerbini, the campaign features styles by Federico Cina, Çanaku, MTL Studio and Bonsai.

The appointments with iconic names and debut brands

Once again for this edition, Milan unites the protagonists of the fashion sector with the excellence of Made in Italy in a packed schedule of appointments and collaborations: new talents will parade the catwalk along with the big brands.

The Gucci catwalk show will open the Milan fashion week while Zegna will wrap up the FW calendar.

Amongst the runway debuts are the London-based brand Charles Jeffrey Loverboy; the calendar of presentations will feature first appearances from ADD, Bonsai, Charles Philip, Iuter, Sestini, Tagliatore and Valsta.

Download the MFW calendar for all the appointments.

The programme comprises 21 fashion shows, 31 presentations, 5 presentations by appointment only, 4 digital contents and 11 events for a total of 72 appointments.

Fashion shows streaming online

Once again for this season, the Camera della Moda will provide the opportunity to follow all the Milan Fashion Week runway shows and presentations on its digital platform milanofashionweek.cameramoda.it enabling the event to reach a global audience.

There will also be the opportunity to watch the fashion shows in live streaming on the mega LED screen positioned on the Duomo di Milano.

Other content, including the MFW campaign, will be broadcast on the maxi screen in Corso Vittorio Emanuele.

Furthermore, thanks to the Fashion Channel,  the contents of the Fashion Week will be available in playback on YouTube.

The National Chamber of Italian Fashion projects

CNMI continues to promote issues related to the enhancement of talent, and incentives for environmental sustainability and social justice through targeted projects.

With this in mind, applications are now open for the CNMI Fashion Trust Grant 2023, an initiative created to support and promote the new generation of independent Made in Italy brands which, for the first time ever, is also open to menswear fashion labels.

In partnership with Salesforce, and in collaboration with D.i.Re (Women on the Net Against Violence), the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana will also launch a new project to support women.

The Empowering Women in Fashion Retail project includes ten mentoring sessions, led by industry experts, dedicated to women across Italy from different professional backgrounds. The aim is to provide the necessary skills for embarking upon a career path in the fashion retail sector.
