Adolfo Pini Foundation
A hidden gem of Milanese art and culture

Founded in 1991, the Adolfo Pini Foundation was created to celebrate and preserve the artistic legacy of painter Renzo Bongiovanni Radice (1899-1970), while also safeguarding the literary heritage of its founder, Adolfo Pini (1920-1986).
Located in a charming late-19th-century building on Corso Garibaldi, once the home and studio of Bongiovanni Radice, the Foundation welcomes visitors into an elegant early 20th-century Milanese residence. The rooms, curated as a living gallery, feature more than forty works by the artist, alongside furniture, ceramics, and decorative objects from his personal collection.
The permanent exhibition offers a journey through the evolution of Bongiovanni Radice’s artistic language, revealing the depth and variety of his creative path. Each room tells a story, inviting visitors to discover one of the most distinctive voices in 20th-century Italian painting.
Beyond the main exhibition floor, the Foundation houses two additional spaces dedicated to cultural preservation and contemporary dialogue. The Archive holds family collections, artworks, documents, and historical materials — a valuable resource for research and the preservation of artistic heritage. Adjacent to it, a contemporary art space hosts exhibitions, installations, talks, and site-specific projects, fostering an open and inclusive environment in constant dialogue with the city and contemporary artistic practices.
True to Adolfo Pini’s vision, the Foundation also supports emerging talents in the fields of art and culture through scholarships and awards, fostering creativity and innovation.
