A permanent resolution of “avant-garde theatre” does not exist, but pieces by Daria Deflorian and Antonio Tagliarini may actually help. The Italian creative couple, active from 2008, has already performed at Triennale Milano Theatre last February with the play Quasi Niente (Almost Nothing), freely inspired to Michelangelo Antonioni Red Desert.

The first show of this season is actually taken from past times and it opens a complete portrait of artist. On the stage, they present Rewind - Café Muller (8th-9th October) - the first work of the Company, which is inspired to Pina Bausch's work. The audience is ready to enter a dance of variable bodies among inversions, departures and returns with a deep focus on the German choreographer.
The research continues on the 10th and 11th October with Reality, a Mariusz Szczygiel’s work. This theatre experience is a historical challenge very valuable on reality perception. With this play Daria Defloria has won Ubu Prize for the best actress.
To follow, the third and last show is Ce ne andiamo per non darvi altre preoccupazioni (We leave not to give you other thoughts) - a sensitive work on life sense. A deconsecrate and somehow experimental language makes the show unique. Thus the two artists cut the red ribbon of this new Theatre Season. This time the audience can choose to complete a puzzle on artists’ identity or to study them piece by piece.
