Pisogne (BS)

The Dog Sunny Beach at the Pisogne, Lake Iseo Lido Darsena has an owner-and-dog  dedicated zone. The area is managed by E.n.c.i. and U.c.i.s accredited dog instructors and admission is free.

Varenna (LC)

The only dog-friendly beach on the eastern branch of Lake Como is located at the end of Viale dei Giardini, just before the tunnel leading onto the SP 72 road, very close to Varenna.

Dogs are free to roam without muzzle and leash, provided they are always under the supervision of their owner. A gate prevents dogs from running off towards the road.

Admission is free.

Manerba del Garda (BS)

Fido Beach is located in Manerba del Garda, at Punta del Rio, very close to the Rocca di Manerba Nature Reserve, a stunning natural and archaeological park. The beach is well equipped for both pets and owners: dogs of all sizes are welcome and more than one is allowed per customer. Free swimming access to the lake. Dogs can roam free if they are trained and behave well.

The beach is managed by the Ca'Nina dog centre and is equipped with umbrellas and sunbeds, a dog roam-free area, plus water bowls and mattresses. It is a typical pebble beach from this area of Lake Garda.

Peschiera del Garda

Beach with umbrellas and sunbeds for hire on the shores of Peschiera del Garda, one of the three major cities of Lake Garda. It lies along the southern shore, surrounded by meadows and woods. By renting a beach chair you are entitled to a free sun lounger and a welcome kit with bowl, cover, baggies and mobile phone hanger. Showers are available, along with fenced areas for dog poo.

You can walk along the shore of Lake Maggiore with your four-legged friends and let them splash free in the water, without a leash and muzzle, in different areas.

Dormelletto Ticino (NO)

This shady municipal dog beach is accessible from a convenient parking area.

Dogs and owners can relax under the trees on the beach and swim in the lake. Fully equipped with small bins for poo bags. Deck chairs and umbrellas are available for hire.

Belgirate

Dogs are allowed near the mouth of the Magrino stream and close to Villa Azalea.

Free access to dogs without a leash, only at the mouth of the river.

Verbania

The dog-reserved beach is next to the Villa Taranto landing.

Dogs are welcome on all beaches with the exception of the Cavallo and Villa Ada shorelines.

Dogs have free access at two spots on the beach below Camogno: in Cannero, via delle Magnolie, near the Hapimag Residence marina and in Cannobio near the Cannobino stream.

Most of the beaches of Lake Idro are dog-friendly so lots of options exist.
