The project, the result of a collaboration agreement between the Municipality of Milan and the cultural association Repubblica del design, is aimed at improving the quality of public space in the area of Bovisa and Dergano and, in collaboration with the Politecnico di Milano, territorial associations and creative offices of the area, starts an urban regeneration, guided by the look at design, with which to rethink the neighborhood together with citizenship. The inauguration takes place symbolically during the design week.
Scheduled events, exhibitions and meetings inspired by the themes of the "Constitution of Design" to tell what is done, has been done and will be done in this area of the city.

Design Open Spaces (DOS) is the first design district spread in different areas of Milano. It will open forgotten spaces of the city to make them a new resource for the community.

Design X Designers is an exhibition of educational projects created by the Design department of Politecnico di Milano: Scuola del Design, Dipartimento di Design and POLI.design. It shows different projects: from industrial products, fashion, interior design, communication to services, brands, transportation and design engineering.
