The third edition of The Ocean Film Festival Italy is coming tonight. This is a cinematographic Festival projecting a collection of the best movies that have been already presented during the Ocean Film Festival Australia. The main focus is the sea with its wild inhabitants, flora, fragilities and beauty. After the success collected during the last two editions, this festival is coming in fourteen italian cities with the same programme: 9 films with Italian subtitles will be projected.
In Southern Right Whale by Kevin Zaouali, we will watch Franca Whale captured with fabulous images from Patagonia; Manry at the sea - In the wake of dream by Steve Wystrach will introduce the relationship between humans and the ocean, telling Robert Manry’s challenge dated back to 1965 - when he crossed the Atlantic by a small sailboat. This edition major topic is the Oceans protection - I am fragile by Florian Ledoux and Nemanu RRuni: Albratross Island by Matthew Newton are the two main movies concerning oceans. The first one tells life of animals in Groenlandia while the second one reports life of albatrosses in Tasmania. Finally the message is clear: sea has to be protected, there is no alternative. Sea concerns all of us - since it is not only animals’ ambient. Sea is the trunk of our thoughts, over there our attention shines forever.
