12 free concerts online

The Palazzina Liberty auditorium virtually reopens its doors thanks to the ‘Palazzina Liberty in Streaming’ event, scheduled from April 17th to May 13th, which will provide a platform for the small, but very artistic, musical groups in the city. The 12 free online concerts will represent a much-welcomed comeback, a joyful musical resurgence which can be viewed on this page each Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
A festival that aims to give a voice to small and medium-sized ensembles on the classical music scenario that, thanks to Palazzina Liberty in Streaming, can enjoy this great opportunity to perform.
The Milano Classica Chamber Orchestra will open (and conclude) the initiative with two programmes (Saturday April 17th and Thursday May 13th at 18.30) that highlight the commendable talents of its string performers. A special crossover evening (Saturday May 8th at 18.30) will also be organized by Milano Classica.
The Associazione Maestro Raro will present a special Beethoven Cello Project (Thursday 22nd and Saturday 24th April at 18.30), in partnership with the G. Verdi Conservatory in Milan, and the Liederìadi Association will showcase three events entitled Liriche Italiane (Tuesday April 20th, Tuesday April 27th and Tuesday May 4th at 19:00) as part of the 15th edition of the Liederìadi Festival.
With the Linz Quartet and the Placard Wind Quintet concerts (Thursday April 29th and Thursday May 6th at 18.30) the Associazione Manifestare Opportunità will continue its mission as a promoter of young talents, as it has been doing for several years, with the Milano Classica Young&Family season.
On May 1st, the Cameriste Ambrosiane female chamber orchestra will present a concert/show entitled Leggende di periferia (Suburban Legends), in which the actor Dario Merlini will give voice to the emotions of essayist Jorge Luis Borges, accompanied by a tango composed by Maestro Astor Piazzolla, which marks the centenary of his birth.
The Associazione Music Development will pay homage to the centenary of the death of French composer Camille Saint-Saëns (Tuesday May 11th at 18.30).
