Lunch Break Visit: "Charity and Beauty" at Palazzo Marino
Visit with YesMilano the Christmas exhibition "La carità e la bellezza" featuring four masterpieces of Florentine art at Palazzo Marino.
Palazzo Marino, seat of the municipal administration of Milano, opens during the Christmas holidays with a special exhibition: four masterpieces of Florentine and Tuscan art, all made between the Fourteenth and the Fifteenth century, will be set up in the magnificent Sala Alessi of Palazzo Marino immersed in a play of lights and fabrics.
Come with us on 2nd December at 1.30 pm and enjoy this one-of-a-kind lunch break activity!
This project was made in collaboration with different museums in Florence.
Sala Alessi is transformed thanks to a scenic setting in a contemporary basilica, with large silk sheets that create a suggestive background behind the works. The drapes, made of "non-violent" silk (obtained by preserving the life of the worms), will then be reused to create clothes by the designer Tiziano Guardini.
