If you fancy watching your favourite club during a training session and seeing your heroes close up on the pitch - with the opportunity to take some souvenir pics as well – here is some info on the AC Milan and Inter Milan training facilities.

Milanello Sports Centre

The AC Milan training ground is immersed in a 160,000 sqm green oasis that comprises a pine forest and a pond as well: it is located in Milanello, near Varese, just 50 km from Milan.

It is a well-known and much-loved venue for the Rossoneri fans who traditionally arrive at the A.C. Milan sports centre in huge numbers on the day of the team's official pre-season start, both to support the players and to be part of the first training session on the outdoor pitch.

Indeed, there are six natural grass pitches plus two synthetic fields (one covered) all secluded from public view subsequent to the privacy laws introduced at the end of the 1980s. The outermost pitch is the only one visible to fans.

Milanello is a fully-equipped sports complex with a mountain biking trail, a state-of-the-art gym, a rehabilitation pool, a sand lane, video analysis room and medical facilities in the basement, press office and the Milan TV studios.

The players always arrive at the centre at 09:30 but it is best to consult the official website for dates of the open training sessions

Centro Sportivo Suning ad Appiano Gentile

To watch the Inter Milan’s training sessions you must head to the Suning Sports Centre in Appiano Gentile, in the Como area. It is set in a verdant oasis on the edge of Parco della Pineta in Appiano Gentile. The Nerazzurri club usually publish training dates via their official website. This is particularly appreciated by the many Inter Milan fans who never miss the opportunity to see their idols up close and show all their support.
