Parking
There are 3 parking spaces reserved for disabled parking permit holders at about 20 metres from the entrance. Cars can be parked on the blue lines along via Conservatorio and in the adjacent streets. For more information on traffic and where to park, please visit:

Entrance
There is one main entrance and 2 side entrances. The main entrance and the one to the right have 1 step (h 15 cm) and a double leaf door (71 cm wide each). The entrance to the left has a double leaf door (71 cm wide each), a ramp (slope of 3%) and two side hinged doors (82 cm wide each).
Interiors
Santa Maria della Passione is one of the most beautiful churches of the late Milanese Renaissance. Inside you can find a real art gallery with valuable works of art of the XVI and XVII century of Milan.
The central nave, the aisles and the chapels can be visited without obstacles; in the central nave there are pews with kneelers and some chairs (seat height: 55 cm).
Particularly relevant is the Chapter Room, decorated with a series of paintings by Ambrogio Bergognone. The entrance to the Chapter Room is at the back of the right aisle. To access it you must overcome: a passageway (75 cm wide), a mobile ramp (slope of 12%), a wide corridor, a double leaf door (71 cm wide each); a double leaf glass door (110 cm wide each) and a step (19 cm).
In the Chapter Room there are some chairs (seat height: 55 cm).
Accessibility for persons with sensory disabilities
An information panel (87 cm from the ground) contains a brief description of the church in Italian and English, and in Braille. In the central part of this panel there is a plan of the building in relief, including a tactile and visual representation of the facade. The QR Code or NFC can be downloaded to smartphones to give access to audio and visual content, with subtitles and translation of the texts into Italian LIS sign language for persons with hearing difficulties. A brief introduction to the history of the building is followed by a description of: the structure, some works of art and the facade of the church.
Cloister
Next to the church, it is possible to visit the colonnaded cloister, once hosting the monastery of the Canonici Lateranensi. From 1800, it hosts the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory.
The cloister can be visited during class time. The entrance is on the right of the parvis. To access the cloister you must overcome an open main door (2,5 m), a threshold (slope of 2,5%) and a passageway (80 cm wide).

The accessible toilet is situated near the chapter house and it has the following specifications:
- hinged door (68 cm wide)
- suspended washbasin (space in front 60 cm)
- floor-mounted toilet (clear space: in front 70 cm, 31 cm to the right and 26 cm to the left).

The church, sited in a pedestrian square, is in a restricted traffic area. One car parking space reserved for disabled parking permit holders is in via Cusani, about 350 meters from the church (in front of the Una Hotel Cusani).

Entrance
The square in front of the church is stone-paved. The main entrance to the church has 8 steps (14 cm) and a double leaf door (164 cm wide each).
On the right side of the church there is a secondary entrance reserved for disabled visitors. It can be reached by walking along via del Carmine for about 50 m on a cobblestone surface with narrow stone-paved routes that are not easy for wheelchair users. The secondary entrance has two consecutive doors and an inclined ramp (slope of 11%) leading into the church.
Interior spaces
The church was built in the 13th century and its façade is Gothic Lombard in-style. The interior is a Latin cross, the central nave has benches with kneelers (seat height: 55 cm).
Access to the Cappella della Madonna del Carmine, at the bottom of the right nave, is preceded by 5 steps (14 cm, handrail on both sides).
There are several side chapels, all preceded by 3 steps.

On the left side of the church you can visit the old cloister of the XV century of which we only have two sides (it is possible to access it directly from the square).

In Via Sant'Antonio there are parking spaces with yellow lines, but they are only for residents.
Cars can be parked on the blue lines in the nearby Via Larga (about 100 m away). At number 12, in front of the local authority offices, there are 6 parking spaces reserved for disabled parking permit holders.

A descriptive panel (h 85 cm from ground level) contains a description of the church in Italian and English and with Braille characters. The central part of the panel has a plan in relief (for a better orientation inside the church) and visual and tactile elements complete the representation of the façade.
By scanning the QR code or NFC with a smartphone, visitors can access information in different formats: audio for visually impaired visitors and video with subtitles and a translation into LIS (Italian sign language) for people who are hearing impaired. After a short introduction on the history of the building, there is a description of the church, its façade and its works of art.

Entrance
The square in front of the church is in paved cobblestone, sometimes uneven; alternatively, you can reach the church entrance along the side sidewalk in via Chiossetto and after passing a short stretch with a paved surface. The entrance has a step (9 cm high) and a double leaf door (90 cm wide each).
Getting around
The church, located in a square overlooking Corso di Porta Vittoria opposite the Palazzo di Giustizia, dates back to the Fifteenth century. It has three naves with side chapels and preserves several late fifteenth-century frescoes. The aisles of the church do not have obstacles. Particularly interesting is the Grifo chapel, located to the left of the central altar.
